She’s a competitor, a leader, a great teammate, and someone I trust when the game is on the line.

Charlye Adams is a 2027 point guard from Odessa, Missouri, and the starting floor general for the Odessa Bulldogs. Ranked #191 overall in Missouri (Class of 2027) and #54 at her position by Prep Girls Hoops — a verified/claimed profile from a smaller program with less exposure than suburban powerhouses.
Listed at 5'3" and naturally left-handed but truly ambidextrous, Charlye attacks from both sides, pushes pace, and pressures the ball end-to-end. As a junior she led the Bulldogs to a 20–6 record, led the team in scoring (11.5 PPG), and logged the most minutes on the roster.
Voted team captain her junior year alongside four senior starters — the kind of trust coaches and teammates don't hand out lightly. A regular at Life Church East Kansas City, she carries the same discipline and purpose off the court that she shows on it. Undersized, tough, smart, skilled. She impacts winning.

Selected to compete in the invitation-only VWBA Elite 50, featuring selected girls basketball players from Missouri and surrounding states. Charlye is one of the Class of 2027 players selected for the October 3–4, 2026 event.

Charlye is one of my greatest journey stories that has come into my path as a Coach… the beauty of it is that we’re just now getting started.
She is the true definition of a three level scorer...she has a really effective pull-up jumpshot and she's a three-point threat from the college three-point line, not just the high school three-point line.

Reads coverages, manipulates help, and creates open looks for teammates from multiple angles.
Voted team captain as a junior alongside four senior starters — earned by work and trust.
Undersized at 5'3" — plays bigger every possession. Most minutes on the team (722) for a reason.
